Embracing 2016

2015 was a good year. It was the year that I knew fully where I wanted to be and I worked actively to get there (which of course is a continual effort that will carry on in 2016). But work I did, day and night. It was also the year of hustle and little sleep. At one point I had three jobs and it was all leading up to where I am right now. I'm standing one month deep in 2016 and feeling intensely grateful for so many things. I soaked up every ounce of goodness January had to offer and it was exactly what I needed. My three jobs have turned into two plus night classes as I attempt to add coding to my repertoire. I like to stay busy but there are some very, very distinct differences I'm already picking up on in 2016. 2016 Hannah is more well rested, refreshed and grounded. For the first time in what feels like an entire year I've been spending my weekends not exclusively* working. I've been taking walks and sipping wine with friends. Things I didn't make time for in 2015. 2016 Hannah is a lot less stressed and a lot more balanced than 2015 Hannah. And that is something I want to consciously maintain. I'm excited to bring more designs into the Hannah Eleanor shop. I'm excited to collaborate with friends and continue doing creative work. But most of all I'm excited to move into this new year with intention and gratitude.  Thanks for reading y'all!
